As a Senior at Scripps, the end of my university experience is coming to an end and it saddens me that it may end off-campus. I utilized this project to reflect on my college experience. I developed various works with photos of Scripps Students from LIFE Magazine taken in 1944 combined with photos from my own college experience. I added color and effects to the black and white photos to highlight the special nature of this place and time. This portfolio project evokes sentiments of nostalgia. Including my own photos made this project extremely personal and highlights great memories I have at Scripps College.
